Early Years Pupil Premium at Eastwood

At Eastwood, we are committed to ensuring that every child has the best possible start to their education. We want all children to feel confident, curious and ready to learn, whatever their starting point.

Like all early years providers, Eastwood can receive additional funding for eligible children. This is called the Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP).

EYPP funding helps us provide additional opportunities and support that can make a real difference to children’s learning, development and wellbeing. At Eastwood, we use the funding thoughtfully in response to the needs of our children and families. This may include additional adult support, high-quality interactions, communication and language support, Forest School and wellbeing activities, staff development, enriching experiences and support for families.

Our aim is to use EYPP to remove barriers, strengthen children’s experiences and help every child make the best possible progress from their individual starting point.

We regularly review how the funding is being used and the difference it is making for our children. Further information about our EYPP strategy, how funding is used and the impact of our provision can be found below.
